The utopian community of Arden, Delaware, is home to the Arden Club, Inc. which offers residents and friends the opportunity to act, sing, cook, dance, garden, read, swim, and to think deeply about economic philosophy.

At the Arden Club, we act, we dance, we sing. We read, cook, swim, and help our gardens grow. We host live music concerts and theatrical performances open to everyone. Our Gild Hall is located just north of Wilmington, Delaware in the utopian Arts and Crafts, Single-Tax, Garden-City community of Arden.

The Gild Hall is available for rental and is especially popular for wedding receptions. The Hall features an indoor stage, an outdoor "Moonlight Theater", a kitchen, dining area, and meeting rooms. Call Janet Cosgrove at 475-8793 for availability and fees. Sorry, rentals cannot be discussed via e-mail. Click here for details.
The Annual Arden Fair. Every year, we host the Arden Fair on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. This year it's August 30, rain date August 31. The Fair features food, crafts, amusements, antiques, books, plants, and a variety of other Gild booths and concerts. Included in the craft booths, the Fair features the creations of many friends and neighbors, as well as many new local craft people. Craft booth inquiries should be sent to 1501 Beech Lane, Ardencroft, DE 19810 or to send e-mail.

You can still honor
someone or amuse others with an engraved brick on the stage of the
Moonlight Theater. Two lines of text, 15 characters and spaces per
line, for $35. The price is only $50/brick. Most of the bricks have the donors name on the first
